Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial management of the Noor Midelt Solar Hybrid 1 Project, a 633 MWp solar PV plant with a 1,324 MWh battery storage system in Midelt, Morocco. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure sound financial, accounting and risk practices to optimise asset value and shareholder returns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial policies, accounting procedures and corporate controls in consultation with senior management.
• Provide financial and accounting oversight, ensuring compliance with IFRS, accurate GL maintenance, payables, receivables, bank reconciliations and Oracle data integrity.
• Monitor risk management activities, administer insurance policies and recommend policy updates.
• Oversee tax and VAT matters, review filings and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
• Manage audit processes, evaluate auditor performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead annual budget preparation, review, and submission, and control budget execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management within large infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate financial governance.
• Experience with risk, tax, audit and budgeting processes.
