Forward Deployed Engineer – AI Automation Specialist (Remote, US Hours)

About the role

MyOutDesk is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer / AI Automation Specialist to design and maintain AI‑driven automation workflows that boost operational efficiency and streamline client‑facing processes. The role is fully remote but requires availability during standard U.S. business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation workflows using platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Implement AI‑driven solutions to improve data management and operational performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automation systems to ensure sustained efficacy.
• Create documentation, SOPs, and training materials for end‑users.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in automation, AI solutions, or related fields.
• Strong analytical abilities and solid understanding of business processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C1+).
• Ability to work effectively during U.S. business hours and collaborate with remote teams.

Required skills

• Automation platforms: n8n, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate.
• AI tools and technologies: machine‑learning platforms, chatbots, data‑analytics systems.
• Project‑management methodologies.
