Freelance Claims Processing Agent – AI Trainer

About the role

This freelance position supports AI‑driven testing for a leading tech platform. You will apply your insurance‑claims expertise to evaluate, design, and document test scenarios that improve the accuracy and robustness of AI systems handling auto‑insurance claims.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated auto‑insurance claim decisions for accuracy, coverage correctness, and regulatory compliance.
• Create First‑Notice‑of‑Loss (FNOL) scenarios that include contradictions, decoy files, and outdated documents to challenge AI agents.
• Write and grade fraud‑flagging scenarios using structured reason codes and determine suitability for SIU referral.
• Develop subrogation test cases that apply state‑specific negligence rules and estimate recovery likelihood.
• Document each test case with clear answers, policy citations, and payout calculations.

Required profile

• Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance claims, legal services, or financial services.
• Recent hands‑on experience in claims adjusting or a closely related role.
• Familiarity with auto‑insurance coverage decisions, state negligence rules, and adjuster authority limits.
• Professional credentials (AIC, CPCU, CIFI, SCLA) are a plus.
• Strong written English (C1 level or higher).
