Front Office Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Front Office Manager supports the overall management of the front office at the Rabat Marriott Hotel. This role oversees daily operations of the bell desk, switchboard, and front desk, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes and high guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day front office operations, including Bell/Door staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk.
• Ensure efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures while maintaining quality standards.
• Handle guest complaints, disputes, and grievances, providing timely resolutions.
• Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operational, and financial objectives.
• Communicate business objectives, performance expectations, and recognize employee achievements.
• Support and lead the front desk team, fostering collaboration, trust, and mutual respect.
• Act as the acting manager for all front office areas in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related area.
• OR a 2‑year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
