Functional Safety Designer

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is looking for a Functional Safety Designer to join its engineering teams. You will work on electronic and embedded systems, ensuring that functional safety requirements are defined, documented, and met across automotive, railway, and other high‑tech projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design functional requirements and ensure they meet stakeholder expectations using ENOVIA.
• Develop functional architecture models in CATIA and maintain the Electrical and Electronic Architecture Design dossier (DCEE).
• Manage product diversity, guarantee requirements consistency, and address questions from all deliverable consumers.
• Lead technical review meetings, perform root‑cause analysis of PLM‑reported issues, and propose corrective solutions.
• Review upstream specifications, generate Technical Function Design (TFD) documentation, and prepare clear technical review reports.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in electronic or embedded systems engineering.
• Strong experience in functional safety and system design.
• Proven leadership ability to guide teams and collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to ensure system compatibility and stakeholder alignment.

Required skills

• ENOVIA for functional requirements design.
• CATIA for functional architecture modeling.
• PLM tools for technical analysis and root‑cause investigation.
• Functional safety knowledge and ability to produce technical documentation.
