Functional Support Analyst – Finance ERP (L2)

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced L2 Functional Support Analyst to provide application support for Finance/ERP within an AMS and SLA‑driven environment. You will work closely with finance users to resolve functional incidents, handle service requests, and ensure the stability of core finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve functional issues escalated from L1 across Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Closing & Reporting) in line with SLA priorities.
• Handle approved functional service requests, including user support, data corrections, and access coordination.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, document known errors, and implement preventive actions.
• Gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications, coordinate with L3/vendor, and support UAT and deployments.
• Assess impact of system changes, support testing, cut‑over activities, and communicate with end‑users.
• Act as a functional SME, providing clear guidance to finance users and collaborating with Service Desk, technical teams, and the Cegid vendor.
• Monitor SLA/KPI compliance, maintain accurate documentation, and support audit requirements.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in ERP Finance functional support or AMS.
• Strong understanding of Finance modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Closing & Reporting.
• Proven ability to manage incidents, service requests, and problem management in an SLA‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams.
