Guest Relations Officer – Shipboard (Morocco)

About the role

The Guest Relations Officer will represent the brand aboard a cruise ship, delivering personalized service to guests and crew while ensuring safety and professionalism. This role is based on a ship operating in the Morocco region and requires clear, courteous communication in English and preferably additional languages.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a constant presence of professionalism and emergency preparedness within stateroom services.
• Support operations by resolving elevator and ADA alarms.
• Act as the brand voice for external calls and provide high‑quality, personalized service to guests and crew.
• Respond to escalated guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Collect and analyze metrics such as guest counts, call volume, and call content.
• Communicate inventory, program access, and maintenance needs, taking stewardship of work areas and tools.
• Lead by example, demonstrating calm composure, humility, and respect for all guests and crew.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience as a Front Desk or Receptionist in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Shipboard guest services experience is an advantage.
• Ability to speak English clearly and cordially; conversational proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, or German is preferred.
• Strong administrative skills and the ability to analyze guest and crew interaction data.
