Hardware Engineer

About the role

The Hardware Engineer will join the automotive hardware team to design, verify, and release electronic schematics and components. Reporting to the Hardware Engineering Manager, you will work with international, cross‑functional groups to ensure safety, cybersecurity, and quality throughout product development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and verify hardware schematics, selecting components from preferred suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with technical requirements, functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity standards.
• Manage change requests, perform impact analysis, and maintain documentation.
• Conduct functional safety analyses (FMEDA, FTA, DFMEA support) and create test specifications.
• Plan and execute validation tests (environmental, electrical, connector systems) and perform failure analysis.
• Prepare test samples, assemble components, and document test results for internal and external review.
• Collaborate with international development teams and multiple project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in the automotive hardware or electronics domain.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross‑functional teams.
