Hardware-In-the-Loop Engineer for Body/Brain

About the role

ALTEN Delivery Center Morocco is seeking a Hardware‑In‑the‑Loop (HIL) Engineer to design, configure and maintain HIL environments for Body and Brain ECUs. The role supports automotive development projects by creating realistic simulation setups that replicate vehicle communication and subsystem behavior.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain HIL environments for Brain ECUs.
• Set up I/O channels, model I/O simulation and implement rest‑of‑bus (SoftECU) simulations.
• Configure component and subsystem HIL simulators.
• Develop and verify HIL test setups for anomaly reproduction and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in embedded systems, Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics engineering.
• Proven experience in HIL engineering.
• Strong team‑oriented mindset.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Optional knowledge of vehicle Body features.

Required skills

• MATLAB/Simulink.
• dSPACE toolchain (plus).
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.
• HIL simulation environments.
