Head of Supply Chain - Africa

About the role

The Head of Supply Chain – Africa will lead the end‑to‑end supply‑chain function across five African clusters and four manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Africa General Manager, the role shapes strategy, drives operational excellence and ensures product availability while controlling inventory, cash and costs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Africa supply‑chain strategy and multi‑year roadmap aligned with regional growth plans.
• Own S&OP/IBP governance, integrating demand, supply and capacity planning across markets and factories.
• Set regional targets and monitor performance for service levels, inventory, logistics cost and project delivery.
• Lead logistics, distribution and cost‑management initiatives, negotiating contracts with 3PLs, distributors and factories.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing supply‑chain team, establishing governance, succession plans and capability road‑maps.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive supply‑chain experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
• Proven regional or multi‑country leadership experience in Africa or similarly complex emerging markets.
• Track record of designing or transforming supply‑chain operating models and leading large‑scale transformation programs.
• Fluent in English and French.
