Head of Supply Chain - Africa

About the role

The Head of Supply Chain Africa will provide strategic and operational leadership for BIC's end‑to‑end supply chain across multiple African clusters and manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Africa General Manager, this role shapes the regional supply‑chain strategy, ensures product availability, and drives cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Africa supply‑chain strategy and multi‑year roadmap aligned with regional growth plans.
• Own regional S&OP/IBP governance, integrating demand, supply, capacity, and inventory planning.
• Set performance targets and monitor service, order fulfilment, inventory, logistics cost and project delivery across clusters.
• Lead logistics, distribution and cost‑management initiatives, including 3PL contracts and network optimisation.

Required profile

• 15+ years progressive supply‑chain experience, preferably in FMCG/Consumer Goods.
• Proven regional/multi‑country leadership in Africa or similarly complex emerging markets.
• Strong track record in end‑to‑end planning, S&OP, demand and supply planning, and inventory management.
• Fluent in English and French.

• Experience with ERP and advanced planning tools.
• Expertise in S&OP/IBP processes and governance.
• Supply‑chain network design and logistics optimisation.
