Health, Safety & Environment Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

The Health, Safety & Environment Manager will ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental and fire protection regulations at our Tangier site. You will lead the development and implementation of safety programs, manage facility reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain occupational health and safety policies, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Organise safety training, awareness programmes and emergency preparedness activities.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and drive corrective measures.
• Manage PPE requirements, environmental protection activities and hazardous substance handling.
• Maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems and coordinate with external auditors.
• Oversee facility maintenance, renovation, modernization projects and technical infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, water, compressed air, etc.).
• Control facility budgets, monitor costs and identify efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Facility Management, Engineering or a comparable field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in health, safety, environmental or facility management within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• 3‑5 years of leadership experience with team and budget responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of applicable health, safety, environmental and fire protection regulations.
• Proven experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation.
