High School Computer Science Teacher

About the role

The High School Computer Science Teacher will join Al Akhawayn School of Ifrane on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role involves designing and delivering engaging computer science courses that align with the American curriculum and the school’s academic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons, create assessments and provide timely feedback.
• Deliver instruction on fundamental programming, computational thinking, web development, data structures and related topics.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Integrate educational technology and learning management systems into daily teaching.
• Supervise classroom activities, projects and maintain an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events and professional development.
• Communicate regularly with students, families and school leadership.

Required profile

• Ability to plan effective lessons and contribute to computer‑science curriculum development.
• Strong communication skills for instruction, feedback and collaboration.
• Background in STEM disciplines such as Physics or Environmental Science.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Education or a related field; teaching certification or license preferred.
• Experience teaching high‑school computer science in an international or American‑curriculum setting is an asset.
• Commitment to student‑centered learning, inclusivity and classroom management in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the broader school community.
