HIL Engineer for Body/Brain

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HIL Engineer to design, configure and maintain Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop environments for Body and Brain ECUs. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support Stellantis projects and ensure high‑quality validation of automotive electronic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain HIL test benches for BRAIN ECUs, including I/O channel setup and simulation modeling.
• Create and manage rest‑of‑bus simulations using SoftECUs.
• Configure component and subsystem HIL simulators for anomaly reproduction and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical and methodological support to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Embedded Systems, Electrical/Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 5‑10 years of experience in HIL engineering.
• Strong team‑oriented mindset and good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• HIL simulation and I/O simulation modeling
• SoftECU development
• MATLAB/Simulink (dSPACE toolchain is a plus)
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet
• Embedded systems knowledge
