Housekeeping Supervisor – Taghazout Bay Resort

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities at Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Working closely with housekeeping staff, engineering, front office and laundry, the supervisor coordinates daily cleaning operations and supports a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool and other spaces after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Update room status for departing guests and communicate changes to the next shift.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to resolve issues.
• Prepare and distribute room assignment changes and ensure accurate documentation.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching housekeeping team members.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting hazards or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lb unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy, including use of point‑of‑sale or hotel management systems.
