Integration Software Engineer

About the role

Harmattan AI is seeking a hands‑on Integration Software Engineer to develop, validate, and harden software interfaces that connect our autonomous defense systems with third‑party and customer data streams. The role focuses on building robust, reusable connectors that become part of our core product line.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze third‑party data interfaces and define robust ingestion pathways.
• Design, code, and deploy backend connectors that translate raw external data into internal formats.
• Manage complex data‑handling pipelines, ensuring performance, timing, latency, and error resilience.
• Validate integrations using simulators and on‑site testing at customer locations.
• Harden and productize integrations for inclusion in the core product baseline.
• Develop automated regression tests to protect existing integrations from future releases.
• Collaborate with integration engineering and deployment teams to shape roadmap and feedback loops.

Required profile

• Strong, product‑focused software engineering background.
• Experience building reliable data connectors and ingestion pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and own end‑to‑end integration projects.
• Willingness to travel periodically for field validation and commissioning.
