Integration Software Engineer

About the role

Harmattan AI is seeking a hands‑on Integration Software Engineer to join its product‑focused software team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and hardening software interfaces that allow our autonomous defense systems to ingest and process third‑party and customer data streams reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze third‑party data interfaces and define robust ingestion pathways.
• Design, code, and deploy backend connectors that translate raw external data into the system’s internal format.
• Manage complex data‑handling pipelines, ensuring performance, precise timing, coordinate transformations, and resilient error handling.
• Validate integrations end‑to‑end using simulators and travel to field sites for real‑world verification.
• Harden and productize each integration, creating reusable capabilities for future deployments.
• Develop and maintain automated regression tests to protect existing connections during product releases.
• Collaborate with integration engineering and deployment teams, providing feedback for roadmap planning.

Required profile

• Experienced coder with a focus on building robust software connectors rather than general systems engineering.
• Ability to own multi‑data‑stream integration scopes and deliver reusable, high‑quality components.
• Comfortable working at a key architectural boundary, ensuring data enters the system correctly.
• Willingness to travel episodically to customer sites for integration validation and commissioning.
