Laboratory Technician

About the role

The Laboratory Technician will support the Quality and R&D teams by performing precise dimensional measurements, creating 3D comparison models, and delivering clear measurement reports to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings to determine the most effective measurement method and select appropriate equipment.
• Create 3D comparison models by correlating CT‑scan data with CAD geometry for accurate dimensional evaluation.
• Develop and execute comprehensive measurement programs using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part specifications.
• Prepare detailed measurement reports and presentations for customers, highlighting findings and compliance status.
• Coordinate measurement activities with the R&D department and the quality production team to ensure seamless workflow.

Required profile

• Hold a Mechanical Technician degree (Bac+2) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar laboratory measurement or quality inspection role.
• Hands‑on experience operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for dimensional verification.
• Deep understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and application.
• Proficient communication skills in both French and English to interact with diverse stakeholders.
