Quality Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence by leading quality activities across manufacturing and customer interfaces at Lear's Tangier plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of quality engineers and coordinate with customer quality representatives.
• Monitor internal and external quality issues, drive 8D problem‑solving and ensure effectiveness of action plans.
• Control quality metrics such as WCs, RPPM, DPPM and LMQM and work to reduce non‑quality costs.
• Lead process and product audits, equipment validation and operator qualification activities.
• Support PPAP preparation for new product introductions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) with at least 5 years of automotive quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 quality management system.
• Proficiency with problem‑solving tools (ISHIKAWA, 8D, 5WHY, PARETO).
• Experience with core quality tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP).
• Fluent in French and English.
