Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton in Rabat is looking for a full-time Laundry Supervisor to oversee its laundry operations and keep the Gold Standards of the brand in line with daily service. The position is based at the hotel in Souissi, Rabat, and involves managing laundry staff, equipment and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete inventory of uniforms and linens and conduct a monthly inventory of laundry supplies.
• Report faulty equipment, maintenance needs and safety hazards to the manager or supervisor.
• Train employees on laundry procedures, including safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Verify that laundry requests are completed for each department as needed.
• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning and drying machinery, and inspect linens and towels for damage.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline and coaching of employees.
• Follow company, safety and security policies, complete safety training and certifications, and report accidents or injuries.
• Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional, protect proprietary information and company assets, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Identify and implement improvements that raise efficiency, productivity, quality, safety and cost savings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No license or certification required.
