Local Data Privacy Officer (DPO)

About the role

Allianz Services, part of the Allianz Group, is looking for a Local Data Privacy Officer (DPO). The role supports and monitors compliance with data protection regulations and Allianz Group privacy requirements, acting as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders so that personal data is processed lawfully, securely and transparently. It also drives privacy risk management, data protection impact assessments and privacy controls.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, local data protection regulations and Allianz Group privacy requirements.
• Act as the local point of contact for data protection and advise business stakeholders.
• Conduct and coordinate DPIAs and privacy risk assessments, and identify and mitigate privacy risks.
• Implement and maintain the Data Privacy Control Framework, including controls, key risk indicators and corrective actions.
• Review contracts, third-party agreements and vendor engagements for data protection compliance.
• Support privacy incident management, including the assessment and escalation of data breaches.
• Promote data privacy awareness through training and communication, and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Risk Management and business teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments, prepare privacy reports and metrics, and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Master's degree or equivalent in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Privacy, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Control or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and Moroccan Data Protection Law (Law 09-08).
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory; IAPP certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) are a plus.

Required skills

• Data privacy and GDPR expertise, risk assessment and control frameworks, privacy governance and compliance monitoring.
• Contract review and third-party risk management, training and awareness, project coordination and change management.
• Good understanding of information security standards such as ISO 27001.
