Logistics Technician

About the role

The Logistics Technician is responsible for managing the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers and to Bayer’s production sites in Casablanca. The role coordinates shipping schedules, optimises routes and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations while working closely with carriers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import, receipt, shipment and export of materials and finished products at the Casablanca site and external warehouses.
• Coordinate documentation required for shipping, customs and regulatory compliance.
• Plan warehouse delivery and dispatch schedules, handling urgent requirements and capacity constraints.
• Monitor shipments, accept loads, and resolve supplier claims or discrepancies.
• Perform double‑checks on receipt and export verifications and ensure correct documentation.
• Configure and read temperature recorders (data loggers) for sensitive goods.
• Maintain control books for raw materials subject to public administration control.
• Prepare, monitor and publish KPI dashboards on relevant information boards.
• Maintain the warehouse training plan and conduct regular training.
• Prepare import/export documentation and liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders and Bayer control tower.

Required profile

• Adherence to internal Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental regulations.
• Strong organisational skills to coordinate with multiple departments and external partners.
• Ability to manage urgent shipments and supplier claims efficiently.
• Proficiency in SAP processes and warehouse management systems.
• Attention to detail for documentation, double‑checks and KPI reporting.
