Procurement Lead – Morocco

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Lead to drive strategic sourcing and supplier management for our healthcare operations in Morocco. You will lead a dedicated procurement team, ensuring optimal supplier performance and cost efficiency while supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, control and measure strategic pooling and procurement activities to maintain an excellent supplier base.
• Lead, coach and develop the procurement team to maximise personal growth and career opportunities.
• Oversee Purchase‑to‑Pay processes, ensuring compliance with standard procedures.
• Negotiate frame contracts, define core assortments and document agreements in supplier‑management systems.
• Identify procurement risks and opportunities, applying risk and change management techniques.
• Conduct supplier development, issue RFQs, evaluate tenders and manage supplier performance.
• Produce reports on purchase volume, open orders and cost‑saving achievements.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, ensuring supplier audits, CAPA management and compliance with scope of supply.
• Integrate Varian procurement practices and align P2P rules across functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement or sourcing teams, preferably in a healthcare or medical‑device environment.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a track record of delivering cost savings.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Familiarity with supplier‑management IT systems and Purchase‑to‑Pay processes.
• Ability to assess market forces, risks and opportunities.
