Machinist I

About the role

TE is looking for an entry‑level Machinist to join its production team. You will operate and maintain standard machines and tools, helping the plant meet its production targets while ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, set up and maintain standard manufacturing machines and tools.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions and identify root causes.
• Interpret blueprints and diagrams to correctly position and secure equipment.
• Address equipment failures promptly, calibrate machines and report issues to management.
• Install routine components, perform routine maintenance and keep detailed equipment usage and repair records.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop that complies with environmental health and safety policies.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of related experience (entry‑level acceptable).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, inclusion, innovation and teamwork values.
