Maintenance Automation Expert

About the role

KOSTAL Morocco is looking for a Maintenance Automation Expert to support its production lines. You will work closely with maintenance technicians and engineering teams to ensure high availability of automated equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Support maintenance technicians in analysing, detecting and repairing complex breakdowns.
• Assist the start‑up of new production lines and machinery equipped with PLCs, HMIs, machine‑vision systems and robots.
• Review, create and execute preventive actions and manage technical documentation.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment, troubleshoot assembly‑line inefficiencies and implement process modifications.

Required profile

• Higher degree in Electronics, Electricity, Automation or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with semi‑automatic manufacturing lines.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and results‑oriented mindset.
• Dynamic, proactive attitude and good level of English.
• Knowledge of mechanics, machine tools, pneumatics and collaborative robotics.
• Familiarity with SAP‑PM.

Required skills

• Parameterization of servomotors.
• Beckhoff PLCs and HMIs.
• Programming FANUC and Stäubli anthropomorphic robots.
• Machine‑vision cameras and sensors (COGNEX, Keyence).
• SAP‑PM usage.
• Mechanics and machine‑tool knowledge.
• Pneumatics expertise.
• Collaborative robotics handling.
