Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the role

Join TE Connectivity as a Manufacturing Process Engineer, supporting product engineering teams to improve design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA). You will work on new product introductions, process optimization, and equipment validation to ensure high quality and cost‑effective production.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in implementing manufacturing techniques, tools, and machinery.
• Configure equipment, tools, and processes with cost calculations to support managerial decisions.
• Lead PFMEA activities for processes under development.
• Support new product introductions, including documentation, change management, and production release.
• Monitor cost, timing, and quality in NPI or strategic projects.
• Control progress during tool/equipment build phases across the global supply base.
• Provide samples, measurement reports, and perform capability studies (Cp, Cpk, SPC).
• Conduct acceptance testing of equipment at supplier or plant sites.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) in Automation, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2‑4 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in assembly technology.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
