Manufacturing & Process Technician

About the role

Join TE as a Manufacturing & Process Technician where you will support all phases of the injection molding production line, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency while collaborating with a diverse team.

Key responsibilities

• Define, update and maintain process documentation and training modules for molding operations.
• Gather mold setup parameters and program injection molding presses.
• Conduct time‑studies, analyze workstation ergonomics and propose layout improvements.
• Assist and train operators on new tooling and molding machines.
• Install molding lines, perform flow analysis and support piece‑by‑piece production concepts.
• Lead new project launches, including capacity studies, equipment procurement and staff training.
• Optimize existing manufacturing processes and create work instructions according to quality standards.
• Monitor OEE, scrap rates and line efficiency, driving corrective action plans.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma (required); two‑year technical degree in plastics or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in plastics processing (injection molding) within the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills and a lean‑manufacturing mindset.

Required skills

• Injection machine operation – Engel, Arburg, Billion, Fanuc.
• Injection molding setup and parameter programming.
• Technical drawing reading.
• Basic electrical, mechanical and automation knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
