Market Planner

About the role

The Market Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal product availability while avoiding excess inventory. You will monitor stock levels, forecast sales, and coordinate with suppliers to keep the supply chain running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update inventory pipeline sheets to provide real‑time visibility of stock and orders.
• Identify and flag major stock issues to the line manager and initiate corrective actions.
• Place and follow up on supplier orders, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and compliance with company requirements.
• Monitor documentation and clearance processes to prevent out‑of‑stock (OOS) situations.
• Align sales forecasts with marketing initiatives and principal master plans, updating pipelines accordingly.
• Generate and distribute stock and sales reports to suppliers for collaborative planning.
• Check product freshness on receipt and in storage to minimize expiry risks.
• Analyze root causes of OOS events and propose actionable improvement plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, demand planning, or a similar role.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
