Responsable Approvisionnement – Véhicules Hors d’Usage (VHU & VEI)

About the role

The Supply Manager is responsible for acquiring end‑of‑life vehicles (VHU) and economically irreparable vehicles (VEI) for dismantling operations. The role supports production needs of the hub by ensuring a reliable flow of vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the acquisition strategy for vehicles in line with hub production requirements.
• Identify, develop and maintain a network of partners such as insurers, automotive experts, technical inspection centres, body‑shop workshops, auction providers and fleet owners.
• Negotiate volumes, pricing and transfer conditions for vehicle acquisitions.
• Assess dismantling value of vehicles (parts, components) together with the technical team.
• Monitor purchase volumes, performance indicators and market trends.
• Explore new sourcing opportunities at national and international levels.
• Ensure administrative and regulatory compliance for vehicle acquisition, including ownership titles, conformity and traceability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Logistics or Insurance.
• Strong knowledge of the automotive sector and mechanics.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience in automotive sales, after‑sales or related fields.
• Experience in insurance automotive, body‑shop management or technical inspection centres is a plus.
• Certification or specialization in purchasing or fleet management is advantageous.
