Mesh CAD Technician

About the role

Join Lear's global FEA team as a Mesh CAD Technician, based in the Rabat Technopolis. You will create high‑quality finite‑element (FE) meshes for automotive seating components, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Independently generate FE meshes for plastic, foam, and structural seating parts using HyperMesh.
• Participate in selecting the appropriate meshing strategy (shell, solid, etc.).
• Manage incoming CAD data, verify completeness, and perform geometry clean‑up.
• Communicate directly with CAD and FEA engineers to align on requirements.
• Apply meshes to geometrical parts and ensure they meet defined quality specifications.
• Collaborate with the international FEA group and respect delivery deadlines for customers.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (Baccalaureat +2) such as design draftsman or technical worker.
• Strong spatial awareness and solid technical understanding.
• Initial experience with CAE tools or other 3D software.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods at a computer workstation.
• Motivated, flexible, and team‑oriented work style.
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
• Good English is a plus but not mandatory.
