Molding Machine Setup Operator

About the role
The Setup Man – Molding is responsible for operating common machine tools, identifying material properties, and producing parts to tight tolerances. You will work on the shop floor, ensuring machines are correctly set up and running efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute specific production runs, setting up molding machines accordingly.
- Monitor workflow to assure quality and follow procedures for equipment failures.
- Provide guidance and training to junior or new operators.
- Conduct periodic inspections and tests of machine parts and share critical feedback with engineers and supervisors.
- Repair identified issues, maintain machine activity logs, and document final product records.
Required profile
- 0‑2 years of related work experience.
- High school diploma required; vocational training or an AA degree preferred.
