Operations Officer (P5)

About the role

The Operations Officer (P5) will manage visa application processing, provide front‑line customer service, and ensure compliance with operational standards. This role supports the Deputy Manager/Operations Manager in delivering World Bank projects while promoting sustainability and ethical practices.

Key responsibilities

• Scrutinize and collect visa application documents, record data accurately, and meet turnaround time targets.
• Handle applicant inquiries via in‑person, email, and telephone, and promote value‑added services.
• Process cash and bank transactions in line with established procedures.
• Coordinate passport delivery logistics to consulates, applicants, and logistics partners.
• Maintain strict adherence to standard operating procedures, manuals, and compliance guidelines.
• Support sustainability initiatives by promoting judicious use of natural resources and following EHS policies.
• Follow Anti‑Bribery Management System (ABMS) roles and responsibilities as outlined in the ABMS manual.

Required profile

• Experience in visa processing, customer service, and cash handling.
• Ability to manage logistics for passport delivery.
• Familiarity with compliance procedures and standard operating manuals.
• Commitment to sustainability, health, safety, and anti‑bribery standards.
