Paymaster – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Paymaster will ensure accurate processing of payroll and related financial records for Marriott International’s operations in Rabat. This full-time position involves verifying data, maintaining employee payroll files, and supporting managers with payroll-related inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial and payroll information.
• Prepare, audit, and distribute payroll, financial, and statistical reports.
• Maintain and archive employee payroll records and files.
• Review, verify, and reconcile punches, hours worked, pay adjustments, and post data to the payroll system.
• Back up transaction files and transmit them to the payroll system according to procedures.
• Process employee paychecks, statements of earnings, and deductions.
• Compute wages and deductions (e.g., union dues, insurance, parking, 401k) and enter them into the payroll system.
• Provide payroll, tax, and benefit information to employees and supervisors.
• Adjust time‑clock settings and correct punch errors.
• Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and support team goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant payroll or finance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
