About the role
The Payroll Lead will manage employee taxation, statutory compliance and government liaison across Francophone African countries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret and apply local payroll legislation, employment laws and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate monthly and annual tax filings, social security declarations and statutory reports.
- Act as primary liaison with tax authorities, labor departments and regulatory bodies.
- Support internal and external payroll audits and maintain audit documentation.
- Partner with payroll vendors, Finance, HR, Legal and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality payroll services.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Law or related field.
- 8–12 years of payroll and statutory compliance experience, including multi‑country West African operations.
- Fluent in English and French.
