Payroll Manager

About the role

The Payroll Manager will lead the end‑to‑end payroll process for employees located in Casablanca and throughout Morocco. Working closely with HR and Finance, you will ensure that salaries, bonuses and statutory contributions are calculated accurately, paid on time and fully compliant with Moroccan labor and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete payroll cycle for all Moroccan staff, including salaries, overtime, bonuses and deductions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date payroll records, employee data and contractual changes.
• Coordinate with HR on attendance, leave, promotions and contract updates.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports and financial summaries for management.
• Ensure compliance with tax rules, CNSS, CIMR and other statutory obligations.
• Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Submit statutory declarations and social security contributions within deadlines.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll.
• Supervise payroll staff, identify process improvements and enhance accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance to align payroll with budgeting and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in payroll management or administration.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan labor law and payroll regulations (CNSS, CIMR, IR).
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in French and English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems used in Morocco.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with reporting tools.
