Payroll Specialist

About the role

Groupe-CRIT is hiring a Payroll Specialist in Kenitra for its automotive sector. The role manages the full monthly payroll process for a large workforce, from preparation to final validation, and ensures strict compliance with Moroccan labor laws and social security legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full monthly payroll process from preparation to final validation for a large-scale workforce
• Process complex payroll variables such as attendance, absences, overtime, paid leave, bonuses, advances and deductions
• Prepare statutory declarations and social contributions, including CNSS (including Etat 9001), CIMR and income tax (IR)
• Prepare bank payment files, payroll reports and final settlements (Solde de Tout Compte) with supporting documentation
• Reconcile payroll rigorously to correct discrepancies and align with accounting
• Generate payroll forecasts and cost reports to support budget management
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and Accounting while keeping salary and personal data confidential
• Contribute to improving payroll processes and HRIS systems

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably in a large industrial or manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to run mass payroll operations (4,000+ employees) with complex shift systems and attendance structures
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan payroll practices, labor legislation and statutory reporting (CNSS, CIMR, IR, Etat 9001)
• Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work under pressure to meet monthly deadlines
• English required; French is a strong advantage
