Physics & Chemistry Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physics & Chemistry Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff to support the academic and socio‑emotional development of our learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance, share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize class materials and maintain an up‑to‑date grade book.
• Design, administer, and grade monthly assessments and all assigned work.
• Decorate the classroom with relevant educational displays and supervise playground duties.
• Work with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, parent meetings, and school events.
• Record daily attendance, manage homework boards, and coordinate student participation in fairs and community projects.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and encourage their involvement in school activities.
• Adhere to school uniform policies and perform any additional duties related to the position.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a school setting.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken, reading, and writing).
• Strong organizational, planning, and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools, specifically intermediate‑level Microsoft Office.
