Plant Logistics Manager – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations at our automotive manufacturing plant in Bouknadel, Morocco. The role ensures material availability, warehouse efficiency and on‑time delivery within a dynamic multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor inbound logistics, internal material handling and finished‑goods shipments.
• Guarantee material availability for production and maintain reliable warehouse inventory.
• Manage goods receipt, storage, material handling, shipping and transportation activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality and Group Supply Chain to ensure operational continuity.
• Monitor and optimise stock levels, reduce working capital and improve inventory accuracy.
• Maintain relationships with carriers, logistics providers and external partners, ensuring customs compliance.
• Track logistics KPIs, drive corrective actions and lead continuous‑improvement projects following Lean principles.
• Lead, develop and support the logistics team’s professional growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Management Engineering, Economics or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics, supply‑chain or material‑management experience in a structured manufacturing setting, preferably automotive.
• Strong knowledge of industrial logistics processes, warehouse management and transportation.
• Proficiency in English; French and Arabic are a plus.
• Availability for occasional short business trips.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management capabilities.
