Portfolio Results Advisor – Global Impact Role

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Portfolio Results Advisor to strengthen the reporting and learning systems for its Sponsorship programs worldwide. You will work closely with country teams and the global Results and Resource Centre to ensure high‑quality data, evidence of impact, and robust accountability mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide country‑specific MEAL technical assistance and support when requested.
• Manage the Community of Practice for learning across Sponsorship and social transformation programs.
• Develop and apply tools, templates, and guidance to improve data collection, reporting, and disaggregation for Total Reach and Annual Reports.
• Lead global learning initiatives to generate evidence on inequality and discrimination, synthesising findings across the portfolio.
• Oversee the evaluation pipeline (baseline, midline, endline) in collaboration with the Research and Evaluation Unit.
• Identify capacity gaps in MEAL staff and program managers, and design capacity‑building interventions.
• Ensure strong accountability systems are in place for all Sponsorship programming.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multi‑country teams and manage knowledge‑sharing platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in designing and managing evaluation studies.
• Excellent communication skills for producing high‑quality reports and guidance documents.
