Postdoctoral Researcher in Process Engineering and Formulation

About the role

The Department of Chemical & Biochemical Sciences – Green Process Engineering (CBS) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Morocco is seeking a postdoctoral researcher specializing in Process Engineering and Formulation, with a focus on the synthesis of fertilizers and additives and on the physicochemical and thermal properties of granular and divided products. The position lasts three years.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen the Fertilizers Unit of the CBS department by contributing to research on industrial chemical processes for fertilizer manufacturing, storage and additive development.
• Supervise internships, projects and laboratory practicals.
• Organize seminars, workshops and conferences on the Process Engineering and Formulation track.
• Take part in collective projects and external missions of UM6P.
• Support PhD and Master's students with supervision of reports, theses and final-year projects.
• Promote internal communication, cooperation and a harmonious working environment.

Required profile

• PhD in Process Engineering or an equivalent recognized degree.
• Relevant R&D experience in Process Engineering and applied industrial research.
• Teamwork aptitude and experience in a multidisciplinary team.
• French and English proficiency.

Required skills

• Design and evaluation of unit operations, and feasibility, cost and risk/opportunity studies.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of computing, programming or modeling is an asset.
