Power BI Reporting & Data Analyst

About the role

Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, is hiring a Power BI Reporting & Data Analyst for its Business Services unit in Casablanca, Morocco. The role gathers, analyzes and presents finance process performance data in Power BI to derive process optimization measures. It suits someone with a strong background in data analytics and reporting tools and a good understanding of KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clean and transform business process data from multiple sources, and build automated data validation and ETL processes.
• Use Power Query, DAX and SQL to model data and optimize report performance; identify patterns, trends and anomalies with statistical techniques.
• Implement data governance policies and best practices for structured data management.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards tracking KPIs, SLAs and business performance, with drill-through and interactive visuals.
• Automate data refreshes and performance monitoring, and give data-driven recommendations and root cause analysis on performance fluctuations.
• Optimize dashboards, educate stakeholders on Power BI best practices and lead process automation initiatives with Power Automate.
• Document data models and reports, work with business, IT and data engineering teams, and present insights to leadership.

Required profile

• Certificate of Secondary Education (minimum); a university degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field is desirable.
• Education in Statistics and Reporting is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Performance Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, Power BI Developer or similar role.
• Understanding of Procurement, Accounts Payable, Billing and Accounts Receivable processes is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Power BI and data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel.
• Experience with SAP FI Accounting is preferred.
