Procurement & Purchasing Manager

About the role

Evernex is seeking a strategic, analytical, and business‑driven Procurement & Purchasing Manager to own a global procurement portfolio. You will shape category strategy, drive supplier innovation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term global category strategy based on market insights and industry trends.
• Balance global and local supplier ecosystems, create exit strategies for under‑performing suppliers, and strengthen key partner relationships.
• Lead high‑impact projects such as supplier onboarding, digitalisation, technology introduction, and supply‑chain optimisation.
• Drive cost‑saving programmes, track performance, and report results to internal stakeholders.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic suppliers and present category strategy reviews to internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Technical and Supply Chain functions to ensure alignment.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English.
• Strong data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven experience in global procurement, category management or purchasing within a technology‑focused environment.
