Procurement Specialist – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process for our manufacturing operations in Casablanca. The role supports the supply chain by ensuring timely delivery of materials, maintaining supplier relationships, and driving cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Convert approved purchase requisitions into accurate purchase orders in SAP, capturing pricing, quantities, delivery dates and contractual terms.
• Monitor purchase orders and supplier deliveries to guarantee on‑time availability of production consumables, MRO items and services.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, addressing performance, quality and service issues.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance, Quality, IT and other functions to align procurement with business needs.
• Support sourcing activities, contract renewals and negotiations together with Category Managers.
• Identify and implement cost‑optimization, process‑improvement and efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac + 5) in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics Management.
• At least 4 years of experience in indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production consumables, maintenance spare parts, utilities, facilities services, technical services, IT and MRO categories.
• Understanding of international trade rules and Incoterms.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for procurement processes.
