Procurement/Logistics Manager

About the role

As a Procurement/Logistics Manager you will oversee onshore logistics and local procurement for a railway project in Morocco, ensuring customs compliance, shipment visibility and effective warehousing coordination with Siemens partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all import activities, lead customs clearance with brokers and ensure compliance with Moroccan railway import regulations.
• Maintain end‑to‑end shipment visibility via a tracking dashboard and manage shipment priorities according to the project schedule.
• Handle advance shipment notifications, delivery planning, and KPI reporting for logistics performance.
• Manage customs broker performance, validate invoices and ensure contractual compliance.
• Drive local procurement for facility management, real estate, fleet, IT, telecom, office supplies and travel.
• Conduct supplier sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, onboarding, qualification, performance monitoring and savings reporting.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in international project logistics and procurement.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in import/export operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Proven expertise in Moroccan customs clearance procedures and duty exemption schemes.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
