Product Engineer

About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking a Product Engineer to coordinate and optimise resources within the product engineering area. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring new material approvals, sample production, and the standardisation of processes and specifications, supporting the launch of new products and modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimise resources to meet engineering objectives.
• Approve new materials, manage sample production and standardise materials, processes and specifications.
• Handle technical manufacturing documentation from creation to archiving or destruction.
• Plan, organise, direct and control product engineering activities, including productivity and product launch.
• Monitor manufacturing stations, plan prototypes, samples, spares and series start‑ups.
• Establish systems for standardisation, logic and optimisation of work (BOM, APD time, etc.).
• Collaborate with engineering, other departments and company units.
• Ensure project completion and apply company standards and policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) with at least 3 years of experience in wiring activity, especially process assembly.
• Ownership, analytical mindset, methodical and organised work style.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
