Project Manager - Early-Stage Music Tech Startup

About the role

Huzzle is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a highly organized Project Manager for an early-stage music technology company building a catalog intelligence platform for rights owners. The client is a rapidly scaling startup developing SaaS infrastructure solutions for the music and rights management ecosystem. The role is full-time, fully remote and independent contractor, focused on implementing operational systems, improving execution and keeping teams aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and optimize project management systems using tools such as Jira, Linear, Notion or Monday.com, and maintain a central source of truth for projects, timelines and workflows.
• Manage daily and weekly sprint cycles, coordinate priorities across teams, identify risks and blockers, and monitor deadlines.
• Drive accountability across departments, conduct regular follow-ups, remove bottlenecks and facilitate communication between stakeholders, leadership and execution teams.
• Run daily check-ins, monitor communication channels (Slack, Google Workspace), track progress and prepare status updates for leadership.
• Attend team meetings, capture action items and keep leadership aligned with operational and strategic objectives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in project management, operations or startup coordination roles.
• Proven experience in early-stage startups or fast-paced tech environments.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and sprint management.
• Experience supporting cross-functional product and engineering teams.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment, with strong organization, communication and stakeholder management skills.
