Public Area Attendant - Medine

About the role

MEDINE GROUP is looking for a Public Area Attendant for its Tamarina Golf & Spa Boutique Hotel in Medine. The role keeps all hotel areas clean and well presented so guests enjoy a comfortable stay. The attendant follows hotel standards and procedures, reports maintenance issues and keeps assigned areas clean, organized and well-stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Clean meeting rooms, lobbies and other common areas of the hotel.
• Operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
• Mop floors and empty the trash in common areas.
• Wash and dry linens and keep them available at all times.
• Wash windows.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, commodes and tubs daily.
• Ensure safety and security standards and high standards of personal hygiene are maintained in your area.

Required profile

• No formal qualifications required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a cleaner.
• Physically fit and able to bend, lift and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and housekeeping equipment.
• Good attention to detail and basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow hotel policies, safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
