Purchaser – Raw Materials & Indirect Materials

About the role

The Purchaser will support the Purchasing & Planning Manager in executing operational purchasing activities for raw materials, purchased finished goods and direct packaging materials. Based in Casablanca, the role ensures the supply chain runs smoothly, meeting delivery commitments to customers while complying with Group Purchasing policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in local purchasing tasks for raw materials, finished goods and packaging.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities.
• Evaluate and recommend optimal logistics solutions to ensure cost‑effective flow of goods.
• Maintain and update local parameters in the Matrix system as instructed.
• Control supplier invoices according to company guidelines.
• Support customs procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and report on agreed Key Performance Indicators.
• Manage defined indirect material categories on delegation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or logistics.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and customs regulations.
• Fluent in English and French with strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using reporting and KPI tracking tools.
