Purchasing Specialist

About the role

COFICAB MOROCCO is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage indirect local purchasing activities, excluding raw materials. The role focuses on sourcing, requisition, order processing, logistics coordination, and contract management to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market intelligence and supplier qualification, including RFIs and RFQs, and maintain supplier master data.
• Negotiate contract terms with local suppliers, prepare draft agreements, and ensure proper approval and archiving in the ERP system.
• Review purchase requisitions, shortlist suppliers, issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, and select suppliers according to purchasing rules.
• Arrange transportation of goods, confirm deliveries with suppliers, and follow up on expedition and receiving.

Required profile

• Master's or engineering degree in logistics or supply chain management.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar purchasing role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Good command of French and English.

Required skills

• ERP usage for creating and archiving contracts.
• Basic accounting, finance, and QHSE standards.
