Quality Engineer – TAC (Wire Harness)

About the role

Work location: Tangier TAC Plant. Reporting directly to the Quality Coordinator, the Quality Engineer will ensure the Voice of Process (VOP) and Voice of Customer (VOC) for Lear’s TAC wire‑harness products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage quality team controllers, technicians and supervisors.
• Ensure correct implementation of Request for Rework (RFR) and execution of the control plan.
• Apply problem‑solving techniques to identify root causes for internal and external issues.
• Maintain direct contact with quality representatives at customer sites to resolve reported quality problems.
• Monitor 8D meetings and follow up on corrective and preventive actions, verifying their effectiveness.
• Track quality indicators such as LMQM, IPPM, RPPM, DPPM and WC.
• Develop and maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Preferably Bac+5 with experience in the automotive wiring industry, especially cutting and lead preparation.
• Knowledge of Quality Management System standards IATF 16949.
• Ability to work in a high‑tempo environment and collaborate across the organization.
• Good English communication skills.
